Since Rochester creek is only a few miles long we headed down to Moodna Creek to finish out the day.
This is the approach to Hell's Teeth, the one class 4 rapid.

The scout at Hell's Teeth is also a class 4, crossing some flood debris to get to a small island.
The current under the far end of the log washes right under a big pile of debris.

Hell's Teeth is named for the old bridge pillars that make the rapid even more interesting.

The bottom left of the rapid features a hole that can look unpleasant. A view of the hole at the bottom of Hell's Teeth rapid.

Jeff starts with an approach down the middle. Jeff starts down the middle of Hell's Teeth rapid on Moodna Creek.

Then skirts the bridge pillar to the left, and finds the tongue. Jeff kayaks through Hell's Teeth on Moodna Creek.

And rides it past the right corner of the nasty hole.

The second dam offers a great slide into a towering foam pile (see the video on page 4).
It was runnable at this level, but can develop a very bad hole at high water.
